These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the TechAK platform, including the website at techak.in, the admin dashboard, student portal, and all associated services. By accessing or using TechAK in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the platform immediately.
TechAK is owned and operated by Ashish Meghwal, registered at Industrial Area, Road No. 5, Kota, Rajasthan, India. These Terms are governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
1. What TechAK Is
TechAK is an education technology platform that serves two purposes. First, it is a coaching discovery directory where students can search, compare, and connect with coaching institutes across India. Second, it is a SaaS (Software as a Service) platform that provides coaching institutes with a dynamic website, admin dashboard, student management tools, and content management capabilities.
TechAK acts solely as a technology service provider and intermediary. It does not directly provide coaching, tutoring, or educational instruction of any kind. The quality, accuracy, and outcomes of any coaching services accessed through the platform are the sole responsibility of the respective coaching institutes.
2. Types of Users
TechAK has three categories of users. Students and visitors are users who browse the coaching directory and access educational materials where permitted. Coaching institute administrators are users who register an institute on TechAK and use the admin dashboard to manage their website, courses, faculty, and student data. Platform administrators are TechAK staff responsible for operations and moderation.
3. Account Registration
To access certain features of TechAK, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at team@techak.in if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
Students must be at least 13 years of age to register. Users under 18 should use the platform under parental or institutional supervision. Coaching institutes must provide truthful information about their organisation during registration and keep this information current.
4. Dynamic Website and Dashboard Service
Registered coaching institutes receive access to a dynamic website and admin dashboard through which they can manage their coaching name, logo, course listings, faculty profiles, student enrolments, educational resources, fee structures, and other content. Institutes may update this information at any time.
Institutes are solely responsible for all content they publish through their dashboard. TechAK does not review or independently verify institute-published content. The platform infrastructure is provided as-is; TechAK bears no responsibility for the accuracy or completeness of institute information presented on the platform.
5. User-Generated Content
Coaching institutes and users may upload content to the platform including PDFs, images, videos, and course materials. You retain ownership of all content you upload. By uploading content, you grant TechAK a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store and display that content within the platform solely for the purpose of providing the service.
You warrant that you own or have the legal right to upload any content you submit, and that doing so does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party. TechAK may remove any content that violates these Terms, applicable law, or a valid copyright complaint.
6. Prohibited Use
You agree not to use TechAK in any way that is unlawful, harmful, or disruptive. Specifically, you must not upload or distribute copyrighted material without authorisation; upload harmful, abusive, defamatory, or fraudulent content; attempt to hack, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform; impersonate another institute or individual; collect or harvest other users' personal data without consent; or use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the platform.
Violation of this section may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of your account and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement authorities under the Information Technology Act, 2000.
7. Subscriptions and Payments
Certain TechAK services are available on a subscription basis. Payment is required in advance before services are activated. All subscription fees are non-refundable unless expressly agreed otherwise in a separate written agreement. TechAK reserves the right to modify subscription pricing with reasonable advance notice to existing subscribers. Failure to renew a subscription may result in suspension of dashboard access and associated services.
8. Intellectual Property
All platform technology, software, design, branding, logos, and original content created by TechAK are the intellectual property of TechAK and are protected under applicable Indian intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any TechAK content without prior written permission.
9. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
TechAK provides its platform on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the platform. To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, TechAK shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including data loss, service interruptions, or damages arising from inaccurate information provided by coaching institutes.
TechAK is a technology intermediary only and accepts no responsibility for the educational quality, outcomes, or conduct of any coaching institute listed on the platform.
10. Account Suspension and Termination
TechAK reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate any account that violates these Terms, engages in fraudulent or harmful activity, fails to pay applicable subscription fees, or is the subject of a valid legal complaint. Termination may occur without prior notice in cases of serious or repeated violations.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Rajasthan, India.
12. Changes to These Terms
TechAK may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email or a platform notification. Continued use of the platform after updated Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
13. Grievance Officer
In compliance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, TechAK has designated a Grievance Officer to handle complaints related to platform content, copyright, or data. Complaints will be acknowledged within 48 hours.
