Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: March 2026  ·  Applies to all TechAK users

This Acceptable Use Policy sets out the rules for using the TechAK platform. It applies to all users — students, coaching institute administrators, and visitors. Its purpose is to ensure that TechAK remains a safe, fair, and productive environment for everyone. By using TechAK, you agree to comply with this policy at all times.

1. Permitted Use

TechAK is intended to be used for legitimate educational purposes. Students may use the platform to search for coaching institutes, access study materials, and manage their enrolment. Coaching institute administrators may use the platform to manage their institute profile, publish course and faculty information, upload original educational materials, communicate with students, and manage their dynamic website and dashboard. All users may contact TechAK support for assistance.

2. Content You Must Not Upload or Publish

You must not upload, post, or distribute any content that is illegal under Indian law; infringes the intellectual property rights of any person or organisation, including copyrighted textbooks, question papers, or videos uploaded without the owner's authorisation; is harmful, abusive, threatening, harassing, defamatory, or discriminatory; is sexually explicit or obscene; promotes or glorifies violence, terrorism, or illegal activity; is false, misleading, or fraudulent, including exaggerated claims about institute results, rankings, or faculty credentials; or consists of unsolicited advertising, spam, or promotional material not related to the institute's legitimate services.

3. Actions You Must Not Take

You must not attempt to hack, breach, or exploit any part of the TechAK platform, its servers, or any user account. You must not use automated tools, bots, or scripts to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the platform without our written permission. You must not share your account credentials with others or allow another person to access the platform using your account. You must not impersonate another coaching institute, student, TechAK employee, or any other individual or organisation. You must not attempt to access content, accounts, or data belonging to another user without their authorisation. You must not attempt to circumvent any subscription system, payment control, or access restriction on the platform.

4. Responsibilities of Coaching Institutes

Coaching institutes have additional responsibilities because they publish public-facing content and manage student data through the platform. All information published on an institute's TechAK profile — including course descriptions, faculty qualifications, fee structures, and student outcome claims — must be accurate and not misleading. Institutes must manage student personal data responsibly and in a manner consistent with applicable Indian privacy laws. Institutes are responsible for all content uploaded or published by any administrator of their account.

5. Responsibilities of Students

Students must use the platform solely for their own educational purposes. They must not share downloaded study materials with unauthorised individuals, attempt to access resources they are not enrolled to view, or post false or malicious reviews about coaching institutes. Students are encouraged to report any suspicious content, inappropriate behaviour, or technical issues to TechAK support.

6. Copyright

TechAK takes copyright seriously. You may only upload content that you own or have explicit written permission to distribute. If you believe that content on TechAK infringes your copyright, you may submit a complaint to team@techak.in with the subject line "Copyright Complaint". Your complaint should include your name and contact details, a description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed, the specific location of the infringing content on the platform, and a statement confirming you are the copyright owner or authorised representative. TechAK will review valid complaints and remove infringing content promptly.

7. Consequences of Violations

TechAK will take action proportionate to the nature and severity of any violation. Minor or first-time violations may result in a warning and removal of the relevant content. Repeated or more serious violations may result in temporary suspension of the account pending review. Severe violations, including illegal activity, may result in permanent termination of the account without prior notice. Where a violation involves illegal activity, TechAK reserves the right to report the matter to law enforcement authorities in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000.

8. Reporting Violations

If you encounter content or behaviour on TechAK that you believe violates this policy, please report it to us at team@techak.in with the subject line "AUP Violation Report". Please include a brief description of the issue and, where possible, a link to the relevant content or account. All reports are treated confidentially and we will acknowledge receipt within 48 hours.
